Herdade da Figueirinha, acquired in 1998 by Commander Leonel Cameirinha and today under the management of his grandson Filipe Cameirinha Ramos, unites three generations around the land, agriculture and the passion for the culture of wine and olive oil.

5 minutes from Beja, Herdade da Figueirinha is located in the heart of Alentejo. With 300 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, it has excellent quality soil and excellent sun exposure for the production of wine and oil. In the center of the agricultural land, stand the buildings that house the winery and mill.

The estate can be seen over 300 hectares of colorful plains, but the vineyards, olive groves and almond groves, are the true loves of this project. Herdade da Figueirinha embraces the ecosystem, in a philosophy of integrated production, resource optimization and environmental protection: Cultivate in order to ensure future sustainable nature and full harmony, always.

Vineyards

82 hectares of vineyards with a N-S orientation, installed on flat land and gently sloping slopes. The Herdade's clayey loam soils and the region's Mediterranean climate provide a unique terroir for the production of genuinely Alentejo wines that surprise the senses.

Red Wines

Varieties traditionally planted in the Alentejo, such as Trincadeira, Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet, national noble varieties such as Touriga Nacional and internationally renowned international varieties such as Pinot Noir, Syrah, Petit Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tannat, are part of the red wine blends.

White Wines

In white wines, the Alentejo Antão Vaz, the national Arinto and Verdelho and the international Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varieties, dominate.
